MODA UK WOMENSWEAR Autumn 2005 |
MODA UK WOMENSWEAR
Moda UK, the national trade womenswear biannual exhibition,
will take place on 20, 21 and 22 February 2005 at the NEC
Birmingham. The NEC is the preferred venue due to its first
class facilities and its central location offering excellent
travel infrastructure, essential for visitors travelling
from all UK regions and Ireland.
The February show will take place in Halls 18, 19 and 20
and will preview autumn/winter '05 collections, providing
an important overview of womenswear trends for the coming
season.
Now in its seventh season, Moda UK will preview over 700
womenswear collections covering women's mainstream fashions,
casualwear, eveningwear, occasionwear, outerwear, accessories
and bridalwear.
Womenswear brands from over 25 countries participated in
the February 2004 event including collections from the UK,
Germany, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Finland, Denmark, The Netherlands
and as farafield as the USA and China.
Brands new to Moda UK last season included Dutch company
Oscar B, bridal and eveningwear collections from Eddy Kay,
Ronald Joyce International Eveningwear, Mori Lee, Capricorn
and After Six as well as show debuts Cut Loose, Randi May,
Sahara, Punky Fish Designs On, Provinci di Caserta and Paule
Vasseur to name but a few.
Once again, running alongside Moda UK will be Moda Menswear,
the established menswear trade exhibition, this season introducing
more lifestyle brands to the event. Footwear UK is situated
in adjacent hall 17, making the NEC the season's most essential
one-stop fashion venue.
The exhibition caters for forward order and stock requirements
for trade buyers only.
The trade aspect of fashion established in Birmingham only
goes to strengthen the £9 billion regeneration programme
currently underway in the city centre. Birmingham now boasts
the best of fashion at retail and consumer levels with the
opening of Harvey Nichols, The Mailbox and Selfridges department
store.
Moda UK and Moda Menswear are wholly owned by ITE Moda
Ltd (part of the ITE Group Plc).
- Forward dates for Moda UK are 7,
8 and 9 August 2005
