CHRIS TYRELL together with partner Jim Searle, designs Hoax Couture. "This morning when I put on this outfit, I knew people were going to stare at me because I'm one big, yellow spectacle. But I'm used to that and I quite love it," says Tyrell of his citrus cotton short-sleeve shirt and yellow linen drawstring trousers of his own design. The designer says natural fabrics and loose fitting clothing are key to staying cool. Also bright colours that reflect the sun are a lot fresher to wear than dark shades that absorb sunlight. "I never wear black once June hits."
