LAVERGNE, sales rep for Boss Women, suggests, "wearing a short-sleeve
shirt or sleeveless jersey T-shirt under a suit jacket to stay cooler." He
recommends suits in light tropical wools, cottons or linens with some
stretch for comfort. Also unlined jackets or softer, less-padded
shirt-like jackets are cool summer options.
"Don't be afraid of a
few wrinkles in summer's lightweight fabrics -- they are supposed to do
that," says Lavergne, this day sporting a Boss stretch cotton suit,
short-sleeve cotton shirt, cotton T-shirt and Miu Miu shoes.
